PLOT

The Doctor tries in vain to restore Selke's good looks, before she turns him into one of the legion of the undead.  Meanwhile over at Sunnydale High, Buffy is getting unwanted attention from the lead singer of Double Cross, one of Sunnydale's top bands.  Buffy doesn't want the attention, especially with a blood donor clinic set up on the school grounds, a prime target for vamps.  There is someone who does want the attention of the band though - Amy Madison, and when she is ignored she has a trick or two up her sleeve to teach the lead singer a lesson.

ART

What an issue to go out on.  After the rubbish we got for the last two issues, it's nice to see that Bennett can still draw.  There is a lot of detail in all the drawing this time, and the only downfall is the fact that Buffy and Amy are almost indistinguishable when they appear together, and just check out that final pic of Selke - what a transformation, and she didn't even need silicone!

STORY

Much like how the previous two parts of the 'Bad Blood' storyline should've been.  Two very separate plotlines continue in this issue - Buffy, Amy and the rock band providing the comedy and Selke and the Doc providing the darker side.  I hope the rest of the 'Bad Blood' storyline will follow this issue's example, although seeing Buffy meet Selke soon would be nice.

OVERALL
The best issue so far in the 'Bad Blood' series, and a nice way for Bennett to bow out.  While there are still minor errors - like not being able to tell who Amy and Buffy are - the series has come a long way from its early days of Hector Gomez, and as we're now entering year two we can only hope things will get better.
