I didn't hold out that much hope that Bravo would show "Alias" season 3 in widescreen, but it's still disappointing that the decided to show it in 4:3, especially since the documentary beforehand was in (the pointless on digital) 14:9. Even more annoying, although hardly surprising given Flextech's other channels (and the UKTV ones which it part owns) tendency to use permanent onscreen graphics, was the huge "E X C L U S I V E" DOG in the top-left of the screen. I do wonder whether channels like Bravo, Living TV and Sci-Fi will ultimately find this practice counter-productive. They've got so few worthwhile programmes in the first place and many viewers might eventually decide not to take the higher basic tier packages that these channels are in, and simply put the saving in subscription charges towards DVDs of the one or two series they're actually interested in. Besides, since Five have got the rights to season 3, how can it be a Bravo "exclusive"? (Note how Sky Sports differentiate between events that are "exlusively live" - i.e. highlights are on another channel - and "live & exclusive", yet the likes of Bravo and Living TV seem happy to promote series as "exclusive" when they've only got the rights to show them first)
