Ever since its early days, Planet Buffy has
had probably the most comprehensive coverage of Buffy and Angel's
UK TV ratings.
Now that season five has started on BBC2
we'll be picking up this page once more, adding Angel season 2 if
and when this makes it onto terrestrial television and, of course,
covering the 2001-02 on UPN and The WB and on Sky One when they return in
January.
As before, the most recent ratings can be
found on this page, with links to every first-run UK episode and the most
recent US seasons available in the box on the left.

TERRESTRIAL RATINGS
Buffy
the Vampire Slayer
Even though the ratings shown for Blood Ties include the repeat,
the series is clearly doing nowhere nearly as well as it used to. A
simple comparison with similar weeks in both 1999 and 2000 shows how the
ratings have fallen, and given the size of the fall this cannot be
entirely down to the increased Sky One ratings. Back on 9 December
1999, Ted pulled 4.59 million, while even last year, Pangs
attracted an audience of 3.42 million.
