PLOT
The final battle between good and evil
begins. With the death of Merrick, Buffy must go it alone against the
evil vampire master Lothos. While she has found an ally, Pike, she
still may not be able to stop him from taking over town, as the day he has
decided to attack is the day of the school dance. Can Buffy stop all
her high school from joining the undead army and defeat Lothos at the same
time? Of course she can!

ART
Those green vamps again!
There's also the small error of a short-haired Willow at the end, yet being
a year later she should have her long haircut. Apart from those little
things the series ends with the same brilliant artwork it has held
throughout.
STORY
Not the most action packed
ending. Buffy's battle with Lothos lasted just three pages, and most
of that was talking. The scene at the end was a nice touch too,
leaving the door wide open for the return of Pike, which if you didn't
already know will be in Chris Golden's first solo Buffy book, Sins
of the Father.
OVERALL
A few errors and a slower action
pace than the rest of the series, but all-in-all a great end to the series
which so far has been the best storyline in any of the Buffy comics
Dark Horse has put out!
