PLOT
A
transfer student offers a new mystery for Buffy and company,
especially when she starts hanging out with some of Sunnydale
High's more badly behaved students. Not exactly sure what
is going on, Buffy decides to investigate what they get up to
after the school closes, but she's in for a shock as it's not
homework they're doing, but dabbling in the Black Arts, and
the transfer student may not be all she seems...

ART
An
artist who is even better than Cliff Richards arrives on the
Buffy franchise, and luckily he'll be returning for #16
as well, as well as the Angel monthly series. Only
complaint is Oz (yet again), but so far no artist has been able
to draw him perfectly.
STORY
Thank
God for Chris Golden!!! After the terrible mess which
the Selke saga has become it's nice to see that the series is
not dead yet, even after a year. While the story is over
quite quickly, it's a fun read and the dialogue is great.
OVERALL
My
favourite Buffy issue in the regular series so far!
I can't wait for the Angel series now, and this issue
has convinced me to resubscribe to the Buffy comic, although
only half a year this time, which means you're stuck with my
reviews 'til #19 and 12 issues of Angel too! BACK
