PLOT
A
media student has found an old black and white horror film in
the archives and decides to sit down and watch it. It's
a retro vampire movie, although the difference with this one
is the star can communicate with whoever is watching!
The next day the student goes around rounding up people to star
and write a new movie which he will direct. Unluckily
for him the students he does round up are none other than Buffy
and the rest of the Slayerettes. On the day of the rehearsal,
Willow, Cordelia, Xander and Oz show up. After a brief
introduction they are transported into the film, where the vampire
star plans to make them his next victims! Now all that
stands between the Slayerettes and the final cut is Buffy, but
will she remember to show up?

ART
Wow!
The best artist on the Buffy series, Richards captures
every member of the cast exactly, no more trying to figure out
who's who! I was really looking forward to the next issue
for the return of Joe Bennett, but now I can't wait for Cliff
Richards' next issue (#15)!
STORY
Evil
Bad Guy, Buffy saves the day again. Watson's plots are
getting monotonous now, with no character development or use
of anyone apart from Buffy coming up with a plan of escape.
Hopefully the start of a story arc next issue will improve things.
OVERALL
When
the art inside the comic is better than that on the cover, you
finally realise that Dark Horse have been listening to our complaints.
Now if only we could get a new writer onboard... Chris Golden
