Eccleston to play Da Vinci Code thug?

Christopher Eccleston hasn't wasted much time in finding his next major post-Doctor Who project - he's reportedly in talks to play the villain in the movie of bestselling novel The Da Vinci Code.

Eccleston is said to be the new favourite to play albino killer monk Silas in director Ron Howard's adaptation of Dan Brown's best-seller.

The movie, which will star Tom Hanks, Jean Reno and Audrey Tatou begins filming in June.
