Shannen Doherty's post-CHARMED career appears to have revolved around a few made-for-TV movies and the Sci Fi channel series SCARE TACTICS (shown in the UK on Sky One).

So it's perhaps unsurprising that she's resorted to a tried and trusted method to boost her career - getting her kit off (well, the top half at least) in the December 2003 issue of PLAYBOY. Either that or she just needed the cash.

The actress' most recent regular role gets a namecheck on the cover as the former Prue Halliwell is described as "Charmed and Dangerous," which must have took literally seconds to think up.

This isn't the first time that Doherty has posed for PLAYBOY; she first appeared in the magazine in the early 1990s following her departure from BEVERLY HILLS, 90210.

For those in the UK, Sky One's "special" Halloween programming features three hours of SCARE TACTICS from 9pm this Friday (31st), pre-empting the great DEAD LIKE ME. BACK TO THE TOP
