PLOT Picking up the pieces from the last issue, Buffy realises that the pizza man is not what she thought he was, as she finally realises that she is being attacked by a group of vampires. Using some interesting objects to dispose of the vampires, Buffy sends Xander to warn Willow and the others about what's happening. Surprised by what's happening, he convinces them all to get out of the house while Buffy battles away. Angel shows up to help out, before one of the vampires approaches Cynthia. The slumber party was nothing but a set-up, and Cynthia is the vampire leader's daughter! Is there anything else Cynthia's hiding? Probably...
ART Green vamps, blue-haired Willow, big monster reject from Species. Need I go on? STORY A really good ending to the story. The writers pull out all the stops here with loads of revelations about Cynthia and Buffy improvising with kitchen equipment for stakes are just some of the highlights! OVERALL Couldn't Dark Horse afford someone who can draw? Great story, but the art is really bad - thankfully this was Hector Gomez's last issue. Please never let him return! BACK TO THE TOP |
